Neuro-orthopaedics

Martin Švehlík, PhD, Priv. Doz. Dr. Bc.

Neuro-orthopaedic consultant
"Being able to move freely is one of the most natural needs a child has. And where free movement, walking or running is restricted, families will find in me a dependable partner."

About me

Freedom of movement is something a child takes entirely for granted — and where it is restricted, I work with families to win it back. I have devoted myself to paediatric orthopaedics for more than two decades, and my dual qualification as both doctor and physiotherapist gives me a particular perspective: I am interested not only in how the musculoskeletal system is built, but above all in how a child actually moves.
