Dizziness therapy for children — when the world starts spinning

Dizziness in children is often overlooked. We help your child train the balance system and overcome the dizziness.

Our approach

Dizziness therapy that recalibrates the balance system

Dizziness in children can have many causes: vestibular disorders, neurological conditions, balance problems after middle ear infections, or as an accompanying symptom of cerebral palsy. A vestibular disorder in a child can noticeably affect both development and daily life. Dizziness has a strong effect on concentration and school performance. Our vestibular rehabilitation trains the balance system in a targeted way and helps the brain integrate signals from your child's balance organ, eyes and body correctly again.
When the world stops spinning, real life starts again.

Our equipment and methods

These modern devices and methods are waiting for you

For dizziness and balance therapy we use specialised equipment and established methods that help children regain trust in their own body.

Balance and stability training with the Tymo system
Gleichgewicht und Koordination

Tymo – Balance und Stabilität

The smallest shifts of weight control a game on screen. This lets your child practise posture and coordination, seated too if standing unaided is still too hard.

Targeted training with Pablo for dizziness and balance disorders
Arm, Schulter und Oberkörper

Pablo – Stabilität im Oberkörper

With vertigo, a stable upper body helps. The Pablo trains arm, shoulder and trunk as a game and makes progress measurable.

Training with the Balo balance trainer to build core stability
Steh- und Balancetrainer

Balo – Sicherheit im Stand

With vertigo, the first thing lost is confidence in one’s own footing. On the Balo, in a secure setting, your child experiences that they can compensate for swaying — and regains that confidence step by step.

Our therapists

Specialised. Experienced. Here for you.

Dizziness in children is often complex — which is why we take time for a careful assessment. We distinguish between different causes such as vestibular, neurological or combined problems. The therapy consists of gentle, step-by-step exercises that train the balance system specifically without overwhelming your child. Your child learns to handle stimuli with confidence and to trust their own body again. We also talk through everyday situations together, so that the confidence carries over to home.

Häufige Fragen

Was Sie wissen möchten

Why does our child get dizzy, and how does it come about?▾
Dizziness in children has many causes: disorders of the vestibular system, neurological conditions, recovery after middle ear infections, migraine, or as an accompanying symptom of cerebral palsy. A careful analysis matters, so we begin with a thorough assessment.
Is dizziness therapy safe for children?▾
Yes, when it is carried out by someone with the right expertise. We increase the stimuli that provoke dizziness gradually and under control. At the beginning, exercises may briefly cause dizziness — that is normal and part of the process. We always work at a pace that does not overwhelm your child.
How long does dizziness therapy take before there is an improvement?▾
First improvements often show after four to eight sessions. With BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) a single treatment session can bring noticeable relief. Chronic vestibular dizziness takes longer — regular therapy over two to three months is realistic.
Can dizziness in children go away on its own?▾
Sometimes — after middle ear infections in particular, the balance system can recover by itself. With chronic or neurologically caused dizziness, however, targeted therapy is considerably faster and more effective than waiting.
